Discover the fascinating art of fusing glass with me at my Frant studio.
Fun, beginner-friendly glass fusing workshops - no experience necessary !
4 to 6 people per class - minimum age 16 years old or 12 years old when accompanied by a participating adult.
All materials and equipment are included (+ tea, coffee, light refreshments and biscuits).
Free parking on site.
Sessions cost £ 75 pp, last 3 to 3.5 hours and can be booked online based on current availability or on a date and time to suit you (minimum 2 participants) by contacting me via email (hello@glassbyclaudia.com).

Textures
Learn how to cut glass and make a highly tactile 15 x 25cm hanging, plaque or curve in the design and colours of your choice, using glass offcuts, frits, stringers, paint and metal embellishments. You will be amazed by your creation!
This workshop involves cutting glass and is likely to give you the fusing bug...
Brandy Snap Light Catcher
Make 2 light catchers (medium and large) in a choice of shapes and variety of colours and designs of your own creation, using glass granules called ‘Frits’.
This workshop does not involve cutting glass but requires some patience and a fairly steady hand.
Lovely Bubbly
Make a small hanging and either a bowl or a decorative wave using special paints that you will need to mix to the right consistency and apply to ready cut glass shapes. You can create your own designs and even add metal embellishments.
A very relaxing workshop, great for a morning or afternoon of mindfulness!
Metal Inclusions
Discover how different metals affect each other and react with heat in the kiln. Make 4 mini samplers you can frame and make into a piece of wall art, as well as a square platter, all in the designs of you choice and with an array of metal sheets, foils and wires that give surprising results.
This workshop involves cutting some glass for your samplers, but I have pre-cut pieces ready for you too.
Kiln Carving
Make a small hanging and a decorative curve in the colours and design of your choice with this fun technique that will reveal your design as if it was carved on the back of the glass.
This workshop does not involve cutting glass.
Christmas Workshop
Make 5 Christmas decorations : a tree, a snowflake, a Rudolph, a stocking and a pudding! This is a fun workshop which takes you on a learning journey of assembling, cutting, painting and even shaping glass on the grinder.
This workshop involves cutting glass and using power tools.
